Hannah Johnson Earns Player of the Week After Career Night
JACKSON, TN — The TCCAA/Region 7 Women's Basketball Player of the Week honor is coming to Jackson State, as sophomore guard Hannah Johnson delivered a standout performance that powered the Green Jays to victory.
Johnson erupted for a career-high 27 points, showcasing her scoring versatility and competitive drive. She added 6 rebounds, 1 assist, and an impressive 5 steals, impacting the game on both ends of the floor and setting the tone for her teammates.
Her play was nothing short of electric—attacking the rim, knocking down shots, and sparking fast-break opportunities that fueled Jackson State's momentum. Behind her exceptional outing, the Green Jays secured another key win and continued their strong start to the 2025 campaign.
