COLUMBIA, TN – The Jackson State Community College softball team continues to roll, notching its sixth consecutive win with a hard-fought 5–3 victory in Game Two of their doubleheader against Columbia State on Wednesday.
The Lady Green Jays opened strong and never looked back, building on a 4–3 win earlier in the day. Solid pitching and timely hitting were the formula once again as Jackson State showcased their depth and determination.
With the win, Jackson State improves its momentum heading into a key stretch of conference play. The Lady Green Jays are firing on all cylinders, getting contributions from across the roster and showing the poise of a championship-caliber group.
"This team is locked in right now," said Head Coach Barcroft. "They're playing for each other, and it's showing in the results."
Jackson State will look to keep the streak alive as they return home for their next matchup.
