Jackson State’s Eva Stafford Named TCCAA/Region 7 Softball Pitcher of the Week

JACKSON, TN – Jackson State Community College freshman Eva Stafford has been named the TCCAA / Region 7 Softball Pitcher of the Week after a dominant series of performances in the circle.
Stafford was lights out this week for the Lady Green Jays, allowing just 2 runs and 4 hits across 3 appearances, while recording an impressive 11 strikeouts. Her poise, precision, and competitive spirit led Jackson State to critical wins and showcased her as one of the top young arms in the region.
"Eva continues to set the tone for us on the mound," said Head Coach Coach Barcroft. "Her ability to stay composed and execute in big moments has been huge for our team."
